[TPR] Checking the specs , Asa's current Mach I engine

Russ,
You may be right, though I don't look at it as bad news. The engine is
apart and will go back together again soon. Cross-hatching is still
visible in the cylinders and the rings don't appear be well worn.
Everything in the engine is really pretty clean though I think it was
getting a bit of fuel washed past the pistons as well. I think I was
running it really really rich.
Any recommendations on break-in? I ran a non-detergent oil for some
time and then switched to synthetic. It may be I didn't run it long
enough or hard enough. My plan this time was to drive it to work for a
couple weeks. That'll put about 600 miles on it. Do you suppose that
will be enough?
