For various reasons, I've become super motivated to get the motor back in the Pantera.
Sitting in the driver's seat, a friend's impending completed BB512 restoration and our own Asa Jay have "super-motiviated" me to take some action. Well, as motivated as a fat old man can be . . .
The weather here has been unseasonable hot and progress has been slow. Maybe working early morning and late at night????
Tonite I was sitting in the car with a pile of wires and misc. pieces in my lap when I heard a noise - the long block, hanging from the hoist like a xmas tree ornament was swing at the end of the chain. How odd, but I couldn't get out to check until I finished the current step in the process.
When I did get out, I smelled the _____ing skunk before I saw it.
I have all but stopped cleaning the engine bay - the next step might be scraping the whole thing with a putty knife and i KNOW that would be a very long project.
Tomorrow: prepping ZF and Cleveland for their marriage . . . .
