I don't think there is any way to guarantee you get the freshest
available from Tire Rack as JB recently found out. You could simply
threaten that if the date codes aren't within XX months or years that
you will be demanding a refund to include shipping charges both ways.
How far that gets you.... I don't know. The best thing to do may be to
find a good reputable tire shop near you that can order what you want
and let them deal with getting the right date codes.
Summit Racing has some inexpensive wheels in their Summit Racing Legend
5 series. They don't look too bad on the car either. They are about
$150 each though.
