Consensus?
AMSOIL sponsoring you?
Fyi - Jack posted something comparing motor oils in Newsletter in last few months.
When JB got a FREE case of Royal Purple at Silver State I just stole his oil otherwise that liquid gold is too much money in my humble opinion.
I've read all the claims by amsoil, redline, royal purple, etc and I know you and others are loyal users but my feedback from some pro drivers (JB & the Pope).was unless you get sponsored FREE motor oil or are turning 7,000 R's for an hour any quality motor oil is fine.
After my initial break in I did use Mobil One for awhile but went right back to Valvoline VR1 race oil because I found a case in back of the garage I forgot.
I change it after avery orr or track event. Yea I read there is some advantage to using a oil with a high zddp content but why pay the.extra$2-3 bucks a qt for that stiuff but is it worth 6-9 bucks a quart?
Only if you think so ;-)
