Hahahha, nice of you to think that.
the 2011 SORC mile was a chevy powered Pantera?
Darryl J. still holds the record at 172 something at Mojave.
My SORC mile was 148.8 (old motor/old gears.)
MS: Paved mile events are standing start 1 mile (and then stop, if you can). World car record is a twin turbo Ford GT at 257ish (that is some ooomph). One needs about 800 wheel hp to make 200 in the mile. My 148 was done with far, far less hp.

Pantera, take it out and play with it!

The Pope (aka Durango Dave) still holds One Mile Record for a Pantera.

No Panteras ran in the Shootout. They have to drive home.
I ran my Noble M400 @ 148.6 138.4 (missed a shift) 150.2
2011 Pantera ran @ 150.4 157.3 158.0

They would not let any one step up a class this year -- part of the fire control thoughts.

Yea! I see Round Table Pizza decals and at least two Panteras. GREAT SHOWING Guys, even if you did keep it to double digits. :) Congratulations to everyone... even if they didn't drive a Pantera. Keep the sport alive. Asa Jay
