Mostly spent a pretty lazy weekend taking care of little things.
- Cleaned the ZF best I could for now
- Installed pilot bearing, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate
- Got the distributor ready
- Cleaned the engine compartment of the nasty oily grimy stuff, and a a
good amount of undercoat on the frame rails. Funny how it comes off
easy after being oil soaked.
- Fixed up the deck lid pins
- Removed the charcoal canister and hoses.
- Installing a rollover check valve (got as far as the hoses and parts,
will install tomorrow)
- Cleaned up some of the other wires and hoses on the firewall (routing)
- Looking to buy a new throwout bearing (only three years on this one,
seem fine but I'll compare to new)
That last one is the -only- reason the ZF is not bolted to the engine
right now. All else, waiting on engine mounts and radiator. Expect
radiator here on Tuesday, expect engine mounts on Wednesday. Target
engine in and -running- by next Monday. If it's all not right and I'm
not ready, target will slip, but you have to have a goal.
:)
