The radiator shipped last Tuesday,. UPS tracking shows it in route,
arrival by Tuesday 8/14. The car is ready for it. I hammered out the
valance so the front doesn't look so bad (after my off course excursion
last year). I still have a bunch of little bits to do on the car
itself, like clean the engine bay.
Looks like I've had at least two oil leaks on the engine. One at the
rear main seal that coated the inside of the bellhousing and one on the
outside near the front which has coated the left frame rail. Of course,
my car still has undercoating on it. I've found that oil-soaked
undercoating comes off very nicely. :) So it should be easy to clean.
Today after work will be cleaning. Clean the transmission, clean the
engine bay. Then I need to fix the routing on some hoses and wires
which are hanging in the way, from where they should be on the
firewall. I'm nearly sure it will all be ready to take the engine back
in by late Saturday or Sunday.
I have an email in to Becky at Pantera Performance Center right now
getting price and delivery on the engine donuts.
Moving along.
