Transferred all little greebly stuff to the new engine tonight:
- Temp Sender (installed earlier this year... I know it works)
- Oil pressure sender
- Dip Stick
- Zinc anode to the water pump (aluminum pump)
- Front pulley on damper
- Installed brand new NGK UR-4 spark plugs
- Fuel hard line from pump to intake
New tires arrived, look good. Sumitomo 265/40-18 and 245/40-17. Boy
those front tires look too big; they look bigger than the rear tires
I've been running. I hope they don't rub. Good news is, the rears are
damn near two inches taller than the Toyos on my 15" wheels. They
should look sweet on the car. I'll have to send these out for mounting
next week.
Bad news. I tried reversing the engine mount donuts. Not going to
work. Damn! That means I'll need to order some. Which means the
engine won't be going back in this weekend. Crap!
Or.... I go ahead and use them as-is and worry about replacing them
later. I just may do that. Even if the engine is -in-, I can get
underneath and replace them easy enough. That would keep the project
moving.
It's a race now....
