Bud, I don't think any of us can....these are speed events and cheesyas it sounds wether you are racing at 500 miles an hour in a P-51 or your at near 200 mph speed kills....these guys knew what could happen....and did. Having said that anything seems inadequate.....Its interesting hearing folks say now at the same time that the Reno Air Races or Silver State and unlimited division speeds at any events should continue.
I think some of that is normal reaction to tragic accidents with devastating blows to families of these victims......but at same time I can't help but think they were doing what they loved and they knew the risks.....and running at the speeds all these guys were either in the air or on the ground is just pushing the safety envelope to the veryedge.
Still none of that will make anyone feel better....just thinking out loud.

Thanks for the report, I have been wondering and waiting for results. Glad to hear you and JB finished without problems. The accident and lose of lives is truly sad. I cannot find words to express this properly.
