I'm not sure about offsets either but Crager sells or used to sell steel 17x8 or
17x9"wheels....check Summit availability. Dick Drenske had/has a good friend at
American Racing wheels who made it clear he thought they were too heavy for
competition.

"NASCAR cheap steel wheels" are not available in 17 inch sizes. No 15" tires
with appropriate speed rating are available (for a number of years now). This
has been my experience.
