[TPR] (The 7 Banger) is hanging

I did a lot of thinking ( and it hurts ) and finally decided that for this round I was going to keep it stock throw, .030 over flat top TRW., balanced, my old carburetor ( little Holly ), a different intake though the same # and brand as I now have ( my present one is polished and plumbed with two nitrous lines to each port --- I won't run nitrous with a ZF, and it's a bear to clean ) a flat tappet cam just like what I now have, and stay with my heads which I think are open chamber. I get fair gas mileage (19) now and hope to drive a lot of miles each year -- no trailer for me. I plan on building another 351C and may get a little wild with it. I don't plan on being with out a back up engine and I plan on putting a Cleveland in the Ranchero.  [ { I also plan on living longer than my grandmother who made it to 102 } ]

Sounds like you got all the hard to get parts good to go....This going to be a old school Cleveland or running stroker or any roller?

Rods/pistons, crank, and block are waiting for me to get a cam. Then it will be assemble time. I'm wanting to get this old (The 7 Banger) engine apart and find out what cam is in it ---------because I liked the way it ran.

Looking good Bud....congrats to you (and Rowdy) for pulling the engine and transaxle.....wots schedule to rebuild and get Pantera back on road?

#3400 update:
 
I got a real late start today but after hunting up some chain and my special plates I got the engine/transaxle pulled. So (The 7 Banger) is hanging next to 3400 since 3:30 PM. And I'm done for the day !! I got the shop too hot (above 80) so I was sweating in just a T-shirt.
