Well Asa,

If you like those you should see the ones I used last year. (Actually last year I had doubles and pieces of 2x4 under the frame structure) You lay down a 15'' steel wheel and then a 14" on top of that. The 14" sets just inside of the 15" and you then weld them together at several places around the rims, always having the hubcap side of the 14" up ------ the car tire sets in the hubcap area. I have jack stands ---- but none are as safe as the wheel deal !!  I started this back in my late teens ------- I worked in a garage and when I needed to pull an automatic transmission I would put rear wheels of car on double wheels and the front end on a pair of good jack stands. You will not catch me under a car pulling a trany without them.

Rowdy Bob didn't have any trouble getting under the car ------- me one wheel is barely enough.
