[TPR] Fw: It's not much, just autocross

Oh yes, the driver needs a LOT more practice. Getting pointers from
some of the experts once every few weeks helps, but I don't have the
stick time (or area to practice). They change course from Saturday to
Sunday, so pretty much everyone has the same handicap at the beginning
of the day. I am -very- sore just from the course walks I did
Saturday, multiple times. It was a terribly difficult course. Even
the two guys that designed it and laid it out got -lost- on their
first runs.
So yes, I'll keep working on my driving. :)
From the DeTomaso email forum, I have a line on two different sets of
used Konis. One is currently on ebay, the other is a list member with
spare parts laying around. As long as they work for a while, they're
probably better than what I have on there now. Then I can either get
them rebuilt or buy a new set from Pantera Performance Center later
this year.
But yea.... my shocks are screwed. Maybe I can unload them on someone
looking for original Telecars for a restoration. I'm not even sure if
these are rebuildable. I may take a look at that second set in my
garage and take one apart to see what it looks like. I'll put my
Pantera Research Institute white lab coat on for that. :)
