Brian,

Hang in there buddy.  It can always get worse......try doing what you did yesterday with one leg and one eye! :)  A lot of us on this list have had near-death experiences (me included) so we understand.  Keep doing what you're doing and you'll get though it, the alternative is even worse!

JB

Some of you guys know that I have been struggling with some serious back injuries that were sustained from a work injury. Two and a half years in progress but over the last 8 or 9 months being the worst. Due to what my job was, the location the injury occurred, and how it occured, I have had some major battles dealing with my insurance companies. As of 6AM this morning, I received a phone call from both my attorney and one of my insurance companies. Those conversations were probably the best news I have had in a long time. Finally, someone is taking responsibility. I have been living off of savings and investments for the last 7 months and paying all medical expenses out of pocket. In doing so, I also started working on an FFL to maintain a gainful income, which is still in action. Don’t get me wrong, I have made some great investments so I haven’t been struggling so much financially. I could have been allot worse. None the less, you guys have been a
great help in dealing with the things that go through one’s head when the world seems to take a dump on one’s life. Your conversations have played a major role in staying focused and drive on, whether you realized it or not. Granted, most of these conversations were initiated before the life of this list, but the ideology for the individuals on this list is paramount. Thank you…  Brian
