[TPR] Fishing trip to Alaska

I'd be up for a trip to Peter's ranch too, though I don't have a lot of
travel plans that put me in that area next year. I'll be in San Diego
at the end of January, then most of my remaining trips will be back
east, D.C. and Orlando mostly it seems.
Of course I could probably grab a cheap Southwest flight down if someone
picked me up and gave me a place to lay a bedroll.
I have a .50 caliber as well. Though I doubt it's nearly as
sophisticated, being a muzzle loader. :) I'm pretty sure I can hit
the broadside of a barn, but plinking bumble-bees at 1700 yards might be
a bit tricky. It's sure fun to shoot.
I also have an old Winchester lever-action 30-30 that belonged to my
grandmother, on my father's side. She used to hunt deer with it. I
recently had it in to a gunsmith for some small work and they commented
on how it was the nicest they'd seen for a while. We've kept it clean
and stored the best we can (between my father and me). I've been
anxious to run some sabotted X-cellerater (sp) ammo through it; haven't
had the chance yet.
I kind of feel all John Wayne when I handle it.
Alright... back to work, on something, I don't know what, plenty to keep
me busy.
