Sounds like that is why they were nearly extinct until the late 70s early
80s. Some of my dogs are from Puglia. I ate my share of dogs in Puerto Rico.
Best dam pinchos I ever had... Always went back for more....

I like Italian dogs. In fact, I like them a lot !
We eat them all the time down there in the South of Italy, near Brindisi in 
Puglia :>)) facing Albania, where there are champions when it comes to 
cooking on the BBQ ( huge experience during WWII)
Gorgeous on the BBQ, not like " the dancing dog " in China, but close. ( I 
am not picky )
Oh, BTW, anyone out there who has a Fontana 9.5" deck taking dust that could

be for sale for Xmas ? Santa hasn't found my " present" yet.
Pat ( preparing a gorgeous GR4 replica for fun with friends... It's about 
time the Dawg learns how to properly drive on a "real" track like Spa, 
Monza, or may be... Abu Dhabi. Didn't he used to train camels out there 
recently ? )
